Sie haben es geschafft, die ersten sechs Kaufleute im Projekt Berufsbildung International Zug d\u00fcrfen mit Stolz ihr F\u00e4higkeitszeugnis mit Supplement entgegennehmen. Mit gest\u00e4rktem Selbstbewusstsein haben sie sich vor drei Jahren dazu entschieden, die Berufslehre in englischer Sprache an allen drei Lernorten zu absolvieren und im Kanton Zug eine Pionierrolle einzunehmen.<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Die Lernenden von bildxzug und Roche Diagnostics International AG profitierten w\u00e4hrend ihrer Ausbildung davon, in einer internationalen Firma zu arbeiten, zus\u00e4tzlich die \u00fcberbetrieblichen Kurse wie auch ein hoher Anteil der F\u00e4cher in der Berufsfachschule in Englisch zu besuchen. Seit nun drei Jahren gibt es im Kanton Zug das spezielle Format, die international ausgerichtete Berufslehre f\u00fcr Kaufleute EFZ und Informatik EFZ. Die Ausbildung ist interessant f\u00fcr Jugendliche mit guten Englischkenntnissen, die eine abwechslungsreiche und herausfordernde Ausbildung auf internationalem Parkett suchen. Sie bietet aber auch fremdsprachigen Jugendlichen mit ausreichenden Deutschkenntnissen eine Chance. Ganz in englischer Sprache, wie urspr\u00fcnglich geplant, ist nicht m\u00f6glich, da gewisse Ziele in der Standardsprache erf\u00fcllt werden m\u00fcssen, die von der Bildungsverordnung vorgegeben sind. Nach einem eher z\u00f6gerlichen Start im Sommer 2015 spricht sich die Idee einerseits bei den Jugendlichen wie auch bei Firmen herum. Waren es anfangs im kaufm\u00e4nnischen Bereich gerade nur diese sechs Lernenden, sind es aktuell bereits mehr als zwanzig Jugendliche, die mit Selbstvertrauen und Elan diese Herausforderung angenommen haben.<\/span><\/p>\n

„Commercial apprenticeships largely in English“<\/span><\/p>\n

In the summer of 2015, the Office for Vocational Education and Training in the Canton of Zug introduced new commercial apprenticeships for business administration and information technology largely in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the\u00a0Office for Vocational Education and Training in the Canton of Zug,<\/a> Bruno Geiger is Project Manager of a project that involves developing and implementing commercial apprenticeships conducted largely through English in conjunction with the Swiss Federal Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma\u00a0(first years in management and IT – commencing summer 2015).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Canton of Zug hopes that this project will create an additional service for young people interested in languages, while also helping Switzerland’s dual-track system of vocational education and training achieve greater recognition and involving Swiss companies with an international outlook and multinationals to a greater degree in vocational education and training.<\/span><\/p>\n
